Produce original content
Avoiding plagiarism means fresh content; which is not present on any other website. Let me tell you one thing: paraphrasing another website’s content is also not original content. Read competitor’s articles and do some brainstorming. Then interview other people by asking various questions. Ask questions on Q & A websites.
I suggest that you join a reputed online training course to learn blogging.
Suppose a girl names Siya stays in your neighborhood. Siya buys a new cycle. A stranger visits your residential complex and asks one particular person staying in your neighborhood, “Who does this cycle belong to?”
Person 1 reply: “This cycle belongs to Siya.”
The stranger then approaches another person and asks him the same question. Person 2 reply: “Siya is the owner of this cycle.” The stranger then approaches a third person and then asks him the same question.
Person 3 reply: “I do not know who this cycle belongs to, but I have observed that someone has been parking it here since last week.”
Observe that person 2 has paraphrased the piece of information provided by person 1. That is copy content. But person 3 has provided a fresh piece of information. In the above example, suppose the stranger does research on whatever information he has managed to procure. He will try to verify whether the information procured is precise or not. In other words, the stranger will be doing his research. In the process of research, he may be able to verify that the information obtained is accurate and he may also obtain a new piece of information.
Do research backed by analysis
So, to summarize: original content can be obtained by research-backed by analysis;thereby avoiding plagiarism.
The person can obtain information; say by interviewing one expert or asking questions on quora. He/she can then compare the answers which he/she gets & verify the precision of the information obtained. The person can summarize the entire concept in his own words. He can give his opinion on the matter and try to approach the topic from his own perspective. (I mean to say that the same story can be viewed from different angles). Doing so will definitely help the person to write more original content by avoiding plagiarism. After, having written the original content and published it as a blog post, the person might continue procuring fresh info. So the person will have to publish a blog post every week to get high-quality traffic.
Blogging frequency depends on your purpose behind writing blogs and also the size of your team. Small marketing teams can post once to thrice in a week, while larger marketing teams can post out daily…I had joined one small company as an intern and the entire responsibility of producing high-quality content was on my shoulders…..Since I wanted to expand the business of my company, it was obviously a business blog…I attempted paraphrasing other blogs(of course the top ten blogs for a given keyword…) and tried to produce multiple blogs on a daily basis and the end result was shit…
How often to blog
Remember one thing blogging is all about original research along with analysis; whether it is a personal blog, business blog, niche blog, or affiliate blog. If you are only the single person in your team, then don’t even attempt to write multiple posts in a day. If you use illegal tactics (like me; I had attempted paraphrasing other blogs), then you will be doing more harm than good…Try to post one high-quality content blog once in a week backed by original research and analysis… If you want to gain organic traffic, then firstly remember to update the blogs which you post…Remember that Google loves fresh content( of course which is accurate) and wants to present the best and worthy posts in the topmost positions…
Businesses are constantly updating themselves to keep pace with the advancement of various technologies. So updating your previously written posts on a given topic to keep in pace with the current scenario becomes important. It will also increase your page dwell time.
A small team should focus on posting 3 new high-quality blogs in a week and also update the previous posts for the purpose of gaining organic traffic. A big team should focus on posting 5-6 new high-quality blogs in a week and also update the previous posts for the purpose of gaining organic traffic.
If you are writing blogs to promote products of your company then it is better to diversify content based on the range of products your company is creating. Posting a 1 new high-quality blog once in a week would be sufficient for the purpose of creating brand awareness for small teams. Posting 4-5 high-quality blogs once in a week would be enough for big teams.
